This meditation practice explores a simple breathing technique called Viloma, used to help you calm the mind and relieve anxiety. In this exercise, we divide the lungs into three parts and breathe into each segmentally. You learn to breathe into the belly, the ribs and all the up to the top of the chest, then use one long, smooth exhale to release. It's a simple, guided pranayama (breathing technique) that can be done seated or lying down.
